Chief Financial Officer

A well–established business is looking for a highly capable Chief Financial Officer to join its executive team, based in Liverpool. Please note that our client operates a hybrid model so you will be able to work from home circa 3 days per week if you would like to. In order to be suitable for this role of significant responsibility, you must be a fully qualified accountant with proven experience working at board level. Experience with PE investors would be highly advantageous to your application as would experience with acquisitions – the business has an acquisitive strategy and is looking to double in size over the next 3 years and reach a turnover of circa GBP100m. Reporting directly to the CEO of a GBP50m turnover firm you will have full responsibility for the financial strategy of the organisation and will provide inspirational leadership to a 10 person accounts team. You will create the annual financial plan and have overall responsibility for budgets and forecasts, delivering accurate, transparent, and comprehensive financial reports for the organisation. You will execute a high–growth strategy and focus on profitability and wealth creation.You will be a meticulous professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for building the processes and procedures that ensure stability, trust, and profitability. Previous experience of enabling businesses to achieve rapid growth would be highly advantageous to your application.
