Keen to capitalise on significant market opportunities, they are looking to appoint a high calibre Head of Engineering to support the Group as they invest further in research and development, advanced technology and skills.The RoleIn this leadership role you will manage the design and manufacturing engineering functions, responsible for the development of capable manufacturing processes ensuring the business meets production output targets. You will also be responsible for the short and long term design and project management of machinery improvements and the introduction of new production lines delivering on time and in budget. A key part of the role will also be the implementation of machinery/process improvement programs across existing production lines and the acquisition of technologies to support manufacturing and development including automation.The CandidateWith experience in the design, development and project management of new manufacturing equipment and production lines, you will be used to working within a fast paced and dynamic business, acting as a key point of contact for all major customers on engineering matters.
