Hello,
My Client in Egham is in need of a Chief Inspector.
* Responsibilities relating to maintaining all aspects of the Quality Management System to AS9001D (BS EN ISO 9001:2015, EN 9100:2018) standards, such as:
* Maintaining an efficient quality documentation system through review, change approval and dissemination of information
* Supplier management
* Quarantine & Concession
* Process validation & test reports
* Maintain acceptance requirements of products to ensure product can be delivered direct to customer Right First Time, every time.
* Ensure KPI targets are achieved and maintained and enhanced regularly to improve the department
* Ensuring robust inspection practices and techniques are employed in an efficient manner for all products
* Conduct contract review
* Maintaining the calibration system
* To supervise, support, train and mentor team members within the Inspection department
* Ensuring all documentation and reports are maintained and completed accurately and efficiently
* Support the Compliance Manager in Quality issues
* Work with the Production Departent to understand new products, how they will be manufactured & Inspected and to put in the necessary controls
* Responsible for ensuring that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained
* To help create & maintain a safe working environment and observe the published Health and Safety procedures
To carry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant, when required
