Business Development Manager

Our client is on the search for a talented individual with experience working in the Engineering sector to join them as a Business Development Manager. Your main responsibilities will be to assist them in growing revenue, expanding their portfolio and increasing brand awareness within the Engineering and Manufacturing sector.
Previous experience as a Business Development Manager not essential but a good understanding of the Engineering sector (Manufacturing / Design / Hydraulics / Fabrication) is.
Working within a company that has been established for over 65 years, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading manufacturing within the UK material handling attachments market. The company works mainly within the Agricultural sector but is looking to expand their industries with the help of the right person. With their office based in Wymondham, you will be joining a team of over 35 employees and will have knowledge and experience in: social media activities, branding, marketing strategies and revenue growth. The company specialises in: Manufacturing, Fabrication, Repairs, Hydraulics and CNC Machinery.
Areas of Development for the Business Development Manager includes:
* To locate new markets within the industy.
* Assist and identify areas of new product development.
* Export sales
* Locate new market opportunities with OEM Manufacturers for short term design / proto–type work and long–term manufacturing projects.
* Increase and develop new relationships within the Agricultural / Construction Dealer Network.
Salary: GBP35,000 per annum
