I am partnered with an innovative biotech who are experts in the discovery and development of products aimed at Immuno–oncology. Their portfolio is comprised of cell therapies, checkpoint antibodies, vaccines and so on to represent a combination of synergistic agents to deliver curative patient outcomes.
They are now looking for a talented scientist to lead end to end cell line development for pipeline products and drive their projects forward.
Your responsibilities:
* Responsible for the generation of stable, high–expressing cell lines for biologics production for subsequent transfer into process development and cGMP manufacturing.
* Build, maintain and expand an internal CLD capability supporting the progression of different therapeutic modalities.
* Oversee and manage the design and implementation of early manufacturability assessments to identify liable molecules from panels of lead drug candidates
* Manage a team of talented scientists and set goals and objectives to ensure the delivery of projects on time
Your background:
* Experience and strong understanding of cellular biology and biopharmaceutical cell line development essential
* Industry experience required
* Significant experience and understanding of gene editing tools, CRISPR, Cre–recombinase, etc. for the generation of cell lines
* Experience in cell and molecular biology, with experience in host cell engineering, cell culture process development, vector development, and/or development of novel analytical methods
* strong leadership experience required
