* Chief Operating Officer* Food Manufacturing Industry* Bridgewater, Somerset* Salary negotiable (circa, GBP75,000 to GBP90,000 p.a.)* Excellent benefitsI am delighted to be partnering with a niche market leader in food manufacturing, in their search for a new COO – this role will play a huge part in the expansion and ongoing success of this well established, highly regarded and ethical business.Responsibilities:* Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication* Mentor and motivate teams to achieve productivity and engagement* Establish policies that promote company culture and vision* Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures* Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of managers* Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics* Managing organisational change* Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance* Assist CEO in fundraising ventures* Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)* Work closely with human resources to lead a team with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environmentSkills and Qualifications:* Degree or equivalent* 10+ years senior leadership role and relevant management and industry experience* Exceptional leadership skills* Coaching and motivating* Strong organisational skills* Outstanding written and verbal communication* Team oriented* Project management* Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software (e.g. ERP, CRM)Remuneration package:Salary and benefits negotiable for the right candidate, along with private healthcare, relocation support and the opportunity in future to participate in ownership of shares and associated dividend schemes
