Business Unit Director (Multi–Site) – London

This is a fantastic opportunity to join as a Business Unit Director (Multi–Site Role) – London with Jewson where the purpose will be to be fully accountable for the P&L at Business Unit Level, managing all resource available to leverage a strong performance for Jewson. To be accountable for the delivery of a differentiated customer value proposition, supported by your Sales Manager. Also developing a clear succession plan that will allow the Business Unit and Jewson to grow, giving both Customers and Colleagues (through career development) great experiences.
As a Business Unit Director with Jewson you will be responsible for the following:
Setting the Business Unit commercial, colleague and EHS (environment, health and safety) plans, ensuring that they are aligned to Regional and Jewson plans.
Ensuring that a great Customer Experience and a Great Colleague Experience are at the heart of the Business Unit.
Lead, support and coach your team (Sales Manager, Branch Managers, Business Unit admin) to deliver the Business Unit plans.
Develop strong relationships with all key customers and suppliers, working closely with colleagues and Jewson Support functions to ensure customer and supplier relationships are effective at all levels across the business unit.
Focus on Develop at 12 month sales plan in line with the 1–3–year plan that the Regional Director has set out.
Lead, support and coach the Business Unit to maximise profitable sales, through focus on share of wallet / projects and growing live accounts.
Ensure that people and succession plans are in place and actioned, to provide continuity of a great Customer and Colleague Experience.
Recruitment of all critical vacancies across the business unit.
Involvement in wider Jewson projects and activities.Am I who you are looking for?

Proven experience of leading and coaching a team in a multi–site role.
Proven experience of improving the Customer and Colleague Experience.
Experience of building and delivering profitable business plan.
P&L accountability.
Management of trading accounts.
Sector knowledge (desirable).
Running governance and operational standards.
Cross–functional working.
