Job Title: Operations and Quality Director (Apprenticeships)
Location: Hybrid / South East of England
Salary: GBP65,000
Type: Full Time, Permanent
KM are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a private training organisation who is looking to appoint an experienced Operations and Quality Director.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective management of operations and quality across the business. Prior experience of working at this level within a private training organisation is essential.
Duties include:
Responsible for the quality and operational management for the successful delivery of Apprenticeship programmes.
Manage and drive contract performance to ensure delivery targets (learner starts, progress and completions), and quality of teaching and learning are achieved.
Lead and performance manage a team of Apprenticeship Assessors.
Manage the quality assurance strategy and implementation of the learner journey.
Ensure that quality and compliance standards are maintained to the highest standard in line with Ofsted / ESFA and other funding organisation requirements.
Support with the development and implementation of quality improvement plans / strategies and ensure processes are measured and monitored effectively.
Coach and develop the team to improve performance overall
Work collaboratively across the business to develop the overall businesses growth plans.
Maintain knowledge of funding changes
Producing regular reports for Directors / Key Stakeholders on funding and quality performance across the business.
Essential Criteria:
It is essential to have proven experience of performing a similar Operations and Quality Director level role for the Work Based Learning / Skills sector
Ideally have experience working with and managing high end employer clients
Excellent knowledge of Ofsted and Funding rules and criteria
Extensive quality improvement background
Must be a qualified IQA
Experience of Ofsted inspections
Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle
Must be flexible with travel
