Description

• Working alongside CFO, FC, and IT department in delivering solutions and automating day–to–day tasks to drive operational efficiencies and speed availability to business information
• Supporting the implementation of the digitalisation strategy and launching Power BI
• Supporting CFO, Financial controller, and wider senior team with financial forecasting to assist business planning and decision–making
• Analysing financial performance by location and by department, comparison of actual vs budget results contributing to medium and long–term business planning and forecasts using data analytics
• Delivering solutions to help grow and drive profitability of the business
• Preparation of weekly Management Information Reporting and Analysis
• Working with senior management to gain insight into business performance and help support informed decision making
• Assist with business planning for building and operating new sites
• Assist with Private Equity board reporting
• Supporting process development to increase site performance and profitability initiatives
• Input into compliance, ensuring the integrity of financial information
• Assist with external audits
• Completing finance tasks in line with monthly/annual calendar including supporting the bank reconciliation, purchase invoices management, and accounts preparation
• Interpreting and communicating financial data to non–financial managers
• Support funding applications
• Assist with the day–to–day operations of the finance department, ensuring the efficient operation of the finance team
• Providing support for the finance function including preparing month–end and annual accounts

Profile

• Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA
• Experience in problem–solving
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Can–do attitude, proactive approach
• Strong attention to detail
• Commercial acumen
