Reporting into the Director of Construction & Managed Service, you will be accountable to deliver Commissioning, Qualification & Validation (CQV) scope of services and projects in line with PM Group and our client requirements, in addition to developing and securing new business based on our CQV expertise.
Responsibilities
* Perform work in compliance with PM Group's Service Delivery Platform and Quality Management System.
* Ability to own and deliver CQV projects, within budgeted hours, either part of an integrated EPCMCQV team or as a stand–alone service.
* Liaise closely with the Group Head of CQV, actively contribute to the CQV Community of Practice
* Build close working ties and integration within the broader PM Group network of operations and offices, particularly for CQV scope and delivery opportunities.
* Manage and lead a multi–disciplinary team for the purposes of delivering CQV projects for our clients.
* Manage and lead a team to include overall departmental resource allocation, capability to personal development and overall performance and quality standards expected within the company.
* Demonstrate a thorough commercial understanding and awareness of developments within customer organisations and markets.
* Conduct and carry out a variety of business development activities including meeting customers, attending conferences and networking events.
* Determines objectives, sets goals and delegates assignments.
* Understands the link between high standards of safety performance and commercial performance
* Promote health and safety awareness within the department.
* Ensure a customer–focused approach is taken.
* Manage and review policies/procedures to improve customer satisfaction
* Influence strategic decisions within areas of expertise of CQV where appropriate to including short and long term goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Hold a Bachelor degree or equivalent in engineering or science subject.
* Proven level of knowledge, experience and expertise in delivering CQV project activities, gained within a similar level of responsibility or function.
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and ability to work within a multi–discipline team environment.
* Must possess organisational skills with an ability to produce quality work and achieve project deadlines within budget.
* Strong commercial skills with the ability to manage CQV projects to budget resource hours and commercial return targets.
* A 'forward planner' who identifies and resolves project issues.
* Ability and awareness to critically assess own performance and performance of others.
* Must display a strong work ethic towards the demands of the role and act with integrity with internal and external stakeholders at all times.
* Flexible and willing to travel to meet project requirements.
* Self–driven, results–oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business
