Role: C++ software developer
Location: Cardiff + some remote work
Salary: GBP25,000 – GBP55,000 dependant on skills
I am working with a SME company based in Cardiff who are within the Space + Défense sector.
They are looking hire multiple programmers (C++) ideally with a background in optimisation techniques and AI.
This is a software development role and they are happy to hire graduates to 7 years' experience in software development.
The role:
The role is intended to convert the current optimisation code (written in Python) into C++, with high emphasis on speed, efficiency, and modularity, to be constructed in Object Oriented Programming to enable ease of further code implementation.
Duties and responsibilities:
Working on the conversion of mooreAI's optimisation code into C++.
Preparing reports and statistics evaluating the speed, efficiency, and other performance metrics of mooreAI.
Comparing the optimisation code with industry standard optimisation codes and highlighting where improvements can be made.
Identifying and resolving any bugs/issues in mooreAI (optimisation and core software).
Must have Skills:
C++, Python
Unix experience
Strong maths background; ideally with experience in AI and Optimisation
