We are now looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team in Hoddesdon. The overall purpose of the role is to provide 'first class' financial support and expertise to a the business. The role encompasses a range of responsibilities that are principally focussed around delivery of high quality and robust financial control and reporting for entities within the business unit. The nature of the role demands a high calibre individual who is comfortable both in core financial reporting and forecasting and can identify opportunities to add value and enhance the performance of the business.

Key accountabilities

Accounting and Reporting (VH, VL and CVU)

Managing the production of the monthly production of management and financial accounts and reporting to Group
Ownership of ledgers and balance sheets
Monthly and Year end production of accounts, audit and reporting to Group
Production of statutory accounts

Commercial Support

Support to Commercial Manager / FD in reporting, budgeting and forecasting
Provide challenge of the business unit, ensuring financial robustness of results
Cashflow and working capital monitoring and management
Benefits monitoring and reporting
Ongoing process improvement and change
Ad hoc projects and analysis as required

Staff management

Management of the accountants for each business unit (qualified, QBE and trainees)
Coaching and training of staff
Ensure experience requirements of trainees metSkills & experience

Graduate (2.1 or above)
Qualified accountant
