An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for an NHS organisation who are seeking to appoint a Finance Business Analyst, for 6 months in the first instance.
The role will involve mostly home working, with 4 days per week remote working and 1 day on site.
Key responsibilities will include:
Advising on all aspects of financial management in the context of efficiency and driving forward cost improvement opportunities;
Provision of advice to senior managers on complex accounting and analysis, assisting in devising cost improvement programmes with robust financial information fit for reporting, monitoring and delivery;
Accessing financial and productivity metrics to provide an understanding of efficiency opportunities;
Reviewing all relevant budgets and carrying out detailed financial analysis to scope and evaluate opportunities;
Challenging, influencing and advising on the cost of services, with divisional Business Partners;
Supporting the development of efficiency schemes by engaging with scheme sponsors, providing relevant and accurate financial information;
Supporting the development, implementation and management of robust and ongoing cost improvement programme delivery, driving efficiencies to improve performance against metrics.
The ideal candidate will have:
CCAB qualification;
Prior experience of Efficiency, CIP delivery or Project Management within an NHS organisation is essential;
Understanding and ongoing development of complex spreadsheet and modelling tools;
Presentation skills for delivery of training and education on NHS financial management and budget management;
Accuracy with attention to detail and good analytical skills.
