SYNOPTIX is a Systems Engineering Consultancy supporting a wide range of blue–chip companies in various industries including Defence, Aerospace, Rail, Automotive and Marine.

As a consultancy we are involved in vital projects for this country. Our defence projects allow for remote working and on site work out of our own office. We are looking for an experienced Principal Systems Engineer who can assist with an upcoming project within the Defence industry. This will have a an onsite requirement of 2–3 days.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the project PDA in requirements elicitation from the customer
Working with the project team and stakeholders to develop the system requirements
Capturing and managing the requirements in DOORS
Understanding the impact of the requirements on the existing equipment requirements and how to manage these
Generating and managing requirement specifications from DOORS.
Developing, maintaining, and reporting metrics on requirements status and stability
Use of DOORS DXL would be preferable but not essential

Ability to drive projects and act as a leader amongst a team
Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders

The delivery of this work will be based on work packages and will fall outside of the IR35 legislation.
