Security Operations Director

The Opportunity

As the National Security Operations Manager, you act as the Subject Matter Expert on all Security practices (SIA, ACS British Standards) whilst providing Security Operational advice and guidance to the operations teams.

The Package

GBP80–GBP100k basic

Car or Car Allowance

Home based

The Role of the Security Operations Director

* Providing specialist input to the x4 Regional Manager and National Operations Manager who in turn manage the service delivery managers and officers to support the day–to–day business

* Reviewing service levels with the National Operations Manager & Regional Managers who conduct operational audits to ensure compliance, contractual, legislative, statutory and local requirements in respect of security services.

* Providing Security Operational direction and management within the Security Region

* Providing advice and guidance on all SIA NSI ACS and British Standards

* Developing, implementing and updating the security policy to reflect best practice

* Developing relationships with key internal and external customers to understand and address their needs.

* Managing budgets as required

The Person

* Extensive experience in a corporate security environment

* A strong track record of management experience in Security sector

* Excellent Customer Service skills

* An exceptional working knowledge of the security industry

* Strong people and communication skills

* Organisational skills to plan and organise work to be efficient and effective and allow service to be delivered promptly and reliably

* Analytical problem solving and decision–making skills, the ability to analyse problems and identify solutions including risks and impacts to the business.

* Strategic thinking: ability to understand and anticipate the consequences of decisions made effecting people, departments.

* Innovation awareness– a proactive approach to opportunities and the ability to develop new ideas that will lead to improvements. The ability to adapt and change behaviour to better achieve targets and objectives.

* Skilled in managing own time and setting own goals and objectives; the ability to work on own initiative and to prioritise accordingly

* Security Technology experience – CCTV, Access Control, Alarm Systems
