With political uncertainty being daily news, coupled with complex global supply chain issues faced by companies in all sectors, as well as the war in Ukraine, it's fair to say that even the most well–heeled firms are increasingly conscious of their cashflow and concerned about customer insolvency.

As such, this is a superb time to be joining the specialist Credit Insurance Division of one of the world's best–known insurance brokers; a prestigious name that controls probably the largest portfolio of both credit and corporate insurance accounts in the North of England. Its client lists spans every conceivable sector such as Engineering, Food & Beverage, Construction and Wholesale, and includes some of the North's most prestigious privately–owned and publicly–listed businesses.

This broker has a presence across a number of locations in major cities across the North (any of which can be used as your base), but as an advocate of flexible–working, you only need be in the office once every week or two. Furthermore, you will be acting as the Regional Credit Insurance MD's number two, where you will have a high profile working on key accounts across the region.

As well as inheriting a substantial portfolio of accounts, you will help the business operationally; providing guidance to less–experienced colleagues, helping with the Division's strategy, and creating a culture of mutual cross–selling with colleagues from across the group.

It is essential that you are an experienced credit insurance professional with a detailed knowledge of the market and the requirements of firms from all industry sectors. We welcome applications from candidates from both broking and insurer backgrounds. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels and from all walks of life. In addition, you'll be able to explain the nuances of the credit insurance sector and how it can be a beneficial addition to any firm's insurance programme.
