Business Development Manager: French & French–speaking territories worldwide
Based: Manchester and France (30 – 50 days/year) Work from home
JSM Recruitment is delighted to represent our client who is looking for a talented motivated individual to drive a product launch in France. Their business is growing fast and opening up new territories for their world–leading energy reduction technology.
The product is a globally patented, innovative, affordable, retrofit technology that reduces kWh consumption across AC & Refrigeration systems. Suitable for over 2 Billion units worldwide this is a leading technology solution in a world dominated by climate change and rising global energy prices.
Experience
Must have sales experience or background ideally selling a technology–driven solution. Must have experience of living and working in France and demonstrate success in that environment.
Skillset
* must have excellent verbal sales and written skills including both telephone (demo), 1 – 1, and social media savvy.
* must have a real understanding of social media inside France and be able to connect B – B with targeted French company decision–makers
* ideally, have experience of working within a CRM and on a digital communication platform
* must have sustainability credentials and have a real understanding of climate change to believe in the solution.
* must possess excellent written (email) skills and be able to manage an end–to–end sales process
* must be able to manage own diary and possess excellent organisational skills.
* Stay calm and manage tight deadlines.
* must be willing to travel and work in a fast–paced environment.
Special Circumstances
* manage a workload that will include travel to and from France (approx 30 – 50 days in France)
* attend and exhibit at French exhibitions.
Education
Educated and possess at least 2 years of sales experience. Must be fluent in communicating in France having spent time working/living in France. Must be able to demonstrate both verbal and written communication skills. Engineering & technical sales background/training would be a plus.
Remuneration:
Up to GBP36k basic plus bonus based on units sold. Year 1 OTE = GBP65k +: Year 2 OTE GBP90k +
