HR Business Partner – Essex NHS Trust

Eden Brown Synergy are currently working alongside a leading NHS Trust based in Essex to search for a HR Business Partner. This role will entail supporting the trust with all its HR needs, ensuring that it is able to operate effectively day–to–day. Whilst the role is very much a 360 degree HR role, the main focus is on OD, ensuring that the correct processes are implemented and the talent already present in the trust is nurtured. Your new role as a HR Business Partner

Ensure that allocated Unit/s develops comprehensive and effective workforce plans to address objectives and changing service requirements.
Act as an advocate of change, champion 'change' for all employees of the Organisation by educating, informing and coaching staff and managers where appropriate.
Support the Unit to implement elements of the Trust's people strategies and corporate objectives developing and implementing local plans (eg staff survey).
Provision of professional and timely HR advice, support and guidance in matters relating to HR Management (including management of change. recruitment, conduct, capability, grievance, attendance).
Provision of up to date advice and support on the interpretation and application of Trust's HR policies and procedures, NHS conditions of service and employment law.
Support the Units to manage their key people performance metrics, maintaining appropriate monitoring systems of metrics and casework and delivery of local and organisational level reporting.
Reporting on key aspects of Unit and Trust performance as required. Maximising utilisation of Business Intelligence reporting in ESR.
To assist and support managers through all stages of HR Procedures. This will include participating in investigations, attending formal meetings and hearings to support the operational manager.
Provision of professional advice in the implementation of organisational change at Unit Level.
Working closely with the Financial Business Partner for the Unit to ensure synergy between ESR and financial management reporting.
Working closely with the Pay Services provider with regard to pay accuracy.
Act as a mediator in connection with dignity at work concerns.

Qualifications and Experience Required

The successful candidate for this role will be an experienced HR professional with experience of providing HR advice in a high–level environment alongside possessing at least one year's worth of NHS experience. They'll be experienced in both ER and OD focused HR and will be well versed in HR policy and legislation. They'll either have a master's degree level HR qualification or an equivalent level of experience.
