Business Analyst – Technology & Media

6 Month Contract – Inside IR35

UK, London – Hybrid/Remote

InterQuest are partnering a well–known technology media business and we are looking for a Business Analyst to join them on a contract basis for initially–6 months. Our client is an award–winning company and partner some of the world's largest media brands.

The Business Analyst will join a thriving product development team that design, develop and operate of all our partners customer facing products and platforms.

Please see below background and experience required for this contract position.

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Work with Agile product teams helping to drive forward delivery of platform initiatives that support our partners customer facing products
• Work closely with the Lead Product Manager to ensure backlogs are high quality in terms of content, visibility and understanding of business value
• Coach development teams on structuring and formatting good requirements and stories, ensuing the team is self sufficient
• Develop the BA community within the business along with contributing and maintaining the quality standards and practises

Experience Required

Delivery focus within Agile ways of working

• Experience working with backend service infrastructure and API's or in a platform team
• Proven experience of Agile delivery. (Scum/Kanban/Lean)
• Understanding of iterative product development and lean techniques
• Comfortable leading and supporting delivery of major releases or multiple initiatives from a BA perspective

Collaboration

• Comfortable encouraging and establishing ways of working for the product teams
• Experience encouraging and leading collaboration across a spectrum of stakeholders to achieve a common understanding of challenges and opportunities
• Ability to handle challenging conversations around scope, benefits, and failures
