HR Heads have an exciting HR opportunity as a Senior Business Partner – OD to join an award–winning, fast–paced organisation based in Hampshire.

This new Senior Business Partner – OD position within the organisation is offering up to GBP62,000, benefits with hybrid working – with an expectation to be working in the office 3 days and from home 2 days a week.

The Senior Business Partner – OD will be integral to the shaping and delivery of organisational and cultural change through the development of organisational design programmes and projects aligned to the organisations' future–ready strategy including staff survey outcomes, cultural change through leadership and organisational development, EDI and wellbeing, reward, recognition and policy review. As a senior member of the HR management team, you will lead, inspire and develop your team to deliver key elements of the people strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Use expert knowledge and experience to support the Head of HR with developing and implementing effective OD strategies, policies, procedures and operations to achieve people strategy
Work closely with senior leaders to shape and deliver cultural change, organisational design and business planning priorities
Lead the OD team to successfully design and implement key strategic programmes and projects relating to organisational design and change aligned to the people strategy and within budget
Motivate and develop your team in order to maintain and update their professional expertise, including carrying out Performance Development Review (PDR)
Lead on the organisation of external learning and development requirements and chair networking/champion forums as and when required
Represent the HR team on internal project groups and external groups/committees as required
Establish and maintain excellent relationships across the organisation, particularly with senior leaders, to understand changing needs, challenge thinking and promote the HR strategic agenda
Design comms plans and draft relevant committee papers, presentations and reports for the Head of HR as requested
Communicate the OD plans and objectives to the wider HR team to achieve a shared vision, build substantial working relationships and train to develop skills
Deputise for the Head of HR as appropriate
Gather, analyse and utilise management information to inform recommendations, actions, decision making and when producing reports
Use systems to generate efficiencies and work with the HR Operations team to realise system benefits as required. Skills and experience:

Knowledge of current employment legislation and employment procedures
Experience in Learning and Development techniques and models
Project management (ideally including TUPE)
Working alongside senior leaders to facilitate and shape thinking
Demonstrable experience in facilitating a growth mindset throughout an organisation, driving and implementing change and organisational design
Delivering strategic programmes and projects on time and to budget
Leading and developing a team of HR professionals
Development and implementation of employment policies and practices to support organisational change
An excellent communicator and can influence and negotiate at the senior level
Able to write reports and papers and other correspondence, able to demonstrate attention to detail
Excellent Powerpoint/presentation skills
Solid IT/MS Office skills, particularly Excel for reporting/analytics
Can interrogate data The successful candidate will be at least Level 7 CIPD qualified and have a degree or equivalent in HR experience.

You will be a proactive and strategic leader who can champion groups and networks where required and has excellent communication skills
