Location: This is an agile role with home working available and travel to other offices and sites

Sitting under the banner of Kier Construction, the Kier Places HR team support our Facilities Management, PFI, Housing Maintenance and Environmental operational teams ensuring a good understanding of business issues and how HR can add value on career management, talent management, people development as well as ensuring the wellbeing of our people remains at the core of our culture.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for an Assistant HR Business Partner to with support within our Housing Maintenance business with expert knowledge and skills in people management and development to influence and support the achievement of business strategy, goals and plans within a given business area. In this role you will be implementing and providing advice on policies, procedures and practices to ensure employees are properly recruited, supported and developed.
What are we looking for?
You will need to be able to work in a fast–paced environment as an HR professional with experience of advising across a broad range of HR issues. You will also have a good working knowledge of employment law, HR policies and procedures and organisational restructuring with experience of advising and supporting disciplinary, grievance and appeal meetings. Advising and supporting managers with management cases through to conclusion is an essential part of this role as well as having commercial awareness and business understanding.
