Why do we want you?Wilmington Healthcare are looking for an experienced Account Director who has senior level pharmacy industry management experience and extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and NHS.
You will be responsible and accountable for allocated client across Wilmington Healthcare services, so, you will need to bring your vision, direction, first class negotiating skills and market place and industry knowledge to the role.

Main Purpose of RoleAs the Account Director, your key responsibilities will include:– Understands the key priorities of the clients and the effective communication of their business issues internally within WHC– Translates these to fit to the solutions approach in WHC and make recommendations regarding the internal approach required.– Understands the clients' strategic, operational and tactical needs at multiple stakeholder levels and manages multiple priorities and complex relationships.– Actively promotes the full WHC portfolio of products and services to anticipate and meet client needs.– Translates the strategy of the client, pharmaceutical industry and NHS to make recommendations regarding the strategic direction of the WHC offerings.– Regarded as a recognised and valued partner by the client– Develops strategy for expanding scope of existing contracts and identifying new business opportunities.– Takes a proactive role in contract strategy.– Influences and directs the activities of the sales specialists, service teams, analysts and product innovation teams to achieve/exceed the revenue growth for the client base.– Manages the overall relationship to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.– To define, specify and lead key client projects from initiation to final project delivery ensuring that active and relevant communication is provided to the client throughout the projects.– Identify internal and external resources necessary to complete each project and liaise closely with account team, operations and product development teams.– Identifying project changes, upselling opportunities and managing the impact on cost and timescales– Update Salesforce and ensure all opportunities are logged and updated.– Manage target, revenue and forecasts.– Develop mitigating action plans to meet monthly, quarterly and full year target.– Provide Monthly Pipeline and opportunity report feedback– Attend sales team meetings as required– Attend external and Industry conferences as required
Skills and Experience Required– Educated to degree level (or equivalent) with substantial relevant sales or account management experience and solutions sales management.– Experience in the same or similar role– Experience of key account management in a customer facing capacity– Senior level Pharma industry management– Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and NHS– Excellent track record of key account development– Excellent written and verbal communication– First class negotiating– The ability to influence outcomes– Marketplace and Industry knowledge– Excellent planning and organisational skills– Presenting at senior level– Problem solving– Strong relationship building– Vision and Direction– Proven ability to work as part of a team– Ability to network at all levels – internally and externally
