General Practice Director, ideally with RI status sought due to succession planning within reputable firm.Your new firm A reputable firm of Chartered Accountants based in Manchester City Centre are looking to appoint a Director to join their team due to succession planning. The firm are well established and are renowned for their excellent levels of client service. The firm are seeking a general practice director who has ideally gained their RI status and is experienced in the OMB market. Your new roleAs a Director you will be allocated a portfolio of clients across the North West, predominantly within the OMB sector for which you'll be responsible for overseeing the delivery of accounting, audit and advisory services to. In this role you own the client relationship, leading meetings and providing advisory services, providing final level file reviews and signing off both accounts and audit. As a Director for the firm you will also be responsible for growing the fee line, with an active role in pitching for new work and leveraging off existing relationships identifying cross selling opportunities. What you'll need to succeedThe firm are seeking an ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA) who is experienced managing a large portfolio (400k+) which provides a strong audit fee line. You will ideally be an RI or be working towards this status as in this role you will sign off both audits and accounting files. As a future leader of the firm, the partners are seeking an excellent communicator who can lead a team and build and develop long lasting client relationships.
