* CFOCFOHigh WycombeChief Financial Officer Circa GBP80–130,000 plus discretionary bonus of 20%Our values as an organisation are to be ambitious – with a passion to succeed and thrive, to be high performing – with a commitment to achieve outstanding results, be collaborative – with an ethos that fosters partnership and cooperation.Purpose of roleTo lead the financial management of the organisation; provide relevant and timely financial information to the Board, processes and controls to ensure the robust financial management of the company whilst supporting the CEO to drive profitability and strategically assist in the scalability of the organisation.We are looking for an experienced Finance Director or CFO with strong business acumen, this is a multifunctional, hands on role incorporating all aspects of the Company's finance operations, as well as risk management, finance strategy & implementation of Parent Company objectives.A qualified ACA/ACCA or CIMA who can demonstrate excellent leadership skills and strong written and verbal communications are key requirements for this challenging and rewarding position, in a growing and profitable business. As a subsidiary of a global leader in the industry, we also require someone who can take a leading role in the expansion of the business via mergers and acquisitions.Responsibilities* Full responsibility of all the finance functions, including managing a team of 5* Preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements to local and parent board members and executives* Prepare annual budgets and forecasts and provide significant input into the Company 5 Year Plan.* Manage the company risk and exposure to currency and precious metal price fluctuations* Manage liquidity risk* Full responsibility for all aspects of the company financials and overseeing the team* Full responsibility for the company purchasing function, including 2 members of staff.* Manage the company pricing policies* Managing over 40,000 sku's including effective provision policies* Control the annual stock take and perpetual stock counts* Liaising with banks, external advisers, accountants and auditors* Coordination, documented analysis and presentations to the board.* Supporting the weekly, monthly, quarterly forecasting processes.* Enabling the tracking of key performance metrics for the business.* Ensuring an adequate internal control environment exists and is clearly documented* Management of the internal and external auditing processes and follow up actions as appropriate.* Cash management* Team management* The development of the costing models* Supporting the tendering process* Supporting the senior management in the drive for profitRequirements* Proven experience as CFO, Finance Director or other relevant role* In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices* Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods* Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. QAD, SAGE, EPM tools)* Skilled in the use of business intelligence and analytics technologies (e.g. DOMO, Tableau, Alteryx)* Ability to strategize and solve problems* Strong leadership and organizational skills* Excellent communication and people skills
