Finance Manager

Radley Green is partnering with a very exciting fast–growth business based in Braintree to recruit their Finance Manager.

The role will report into the Finance Director, will manage a team of two and will be focussed on Business Partnering non–finance teams alongside developing the management reporting internally.

This role will pay between GBP60k and GBP70k plus bonus and benefits.

The successful candidate will be the most senior finance person based on–site at a manufacturing site for a business that is leading the way in its field and has grown extensively over the last few years.

The responsibilities include:

• Managing and developing a team of two on a day–to–day basis
• Working closely with senior non–finance stakeholders to provide financial information enabling efficient cost control
• Monthly Management Accounts pack production and presentation
• Development and production of monthly cost centre and project reports to non–finance staff to promote accountability
• Develop and report a KPI dashboard covering all financial and non–financial information
• Process mapping and development to ensure overheads are reported correctly
• Project reporting and control of spend v budget
• Cashflow forecasting and reporting and annual budget preparation
• Capital expenditure appraisals and reporting
• Leading all financial initiatives and acting as lead finance contact for site.

The successful candidate must be / have:

• Qualified Accountant with previous management experience
• Strong cost reporting / control experience
• Excellent systems and excel skills
• Strong analytical experience and the ability to present information
• Strong business partnering experience
