Regional Education Director South

Empowering Learning are supporting a MAT with nationwide exposure in both the primary and secondary sectors, they are seeking to appoint a Regional Director (South regions) on a permanent basis from January 2023 or sooner.

The successful person will have a proven track record and experience of senior management as an Executive Headteacher, Principal or Headteacher in secondary school settings, with a proven track record of sustained school improvement.

As Regional Director you will be accountable for ensuring the educational success of the academies in your respective region and provide leadership, where you will be the first line of support for Secondary Principals in the region. You will be offering advice, guidance and challenge required to proactively redress existing imbalances in the provision of education for secondary pupils and making certain that every secondary school is at least rated 'Good'.

You will be in your respective academies every day, working with the Principal and their leadership team, to ensure that provision is of the highest quality, and to create a culture of constant improvement. With you being an inspirational leader committed to the highest achievement for all, you will collaborate closely with other Secondary Education Directors trust–wide, providing wider support where necessary.

Salary: GBP110K – GBP120K
