The role will suit motivated team-players who enjoy the rewards of helping others reach their potential. As a tutor your primary role will be to deliver effective learning within the accountancy qualifications. Your core time will be split between classroom-based lectures, online lectures & forums and student support & development. In addition, you will need to collaborate with the wider team in lesson planning and supporting learners through their studies. The role allows a high degree of flexible working, in terms of both working from home and flexible hours when not delivering classroom-based courses, offering an ideal opportunity to improve your work-life balance. First Intuition always look to utilise employee skill sets, ambitions and future career plans, so as the business continues to grow it is also expected that your role will develop and change scope over time. This allows tutors to progress their careers and further develop into the areas of the business that most interest them. The role can be primarily based in Reading or Southampton. However, there will be some travel to deliver courses in both offices. The Successful Applicant The successful candidates will be qualified accountants (ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA), with a desire to teach and develop, whether this a new career move or the next step in your tutoring career. First Intuition are looking for proactive, enthusiastic individuals to contribute to the continued growth of the business. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of team-spirit and drive to deliver the highest quality, along with enjoying being part of the strategic decision-making of the organisation. There is no requirement for prior teaching experience, however we would also be delighted to hear from candidates with prior accountancy tuition experience. AAT qualified candidates will also be considered for a role delivering AAT across both centres. What's on Offer This role will offer a base salary in the range of £40,000 to £60,000 (dependant on experience). In addition to this, benefits will include a bonus (based on company and individual performance), employer pension contribution, private medical health care, 32 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), training and support.
