Agile Delivery Manager

Location – Hybrid, partly remote so within 50 miles Huntingdon, Cambs
Responsibilites
* Identify best processes and delivery methods with and for the team and business stream using your extensive knowledge of agile ways of working
* Guide and coach the Delivery team(s) on how to use agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers
* Review those guidelines on a constant basis and enable all team members to feed into those processes by providing an open culture.
* Recognise when something does not work and encourage an agile mindset of inspect and adapt and continuous improvement
* Provide coaching and mentoring for team members on a process as well as (inter)personal level, supporting collaboration on every level
* Get teams to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques
* Give direction to the Delivery Team to ensure that all deliveries are adhering to our business and product strategy and the team is working efficiently and according to predefined team processes and standards.
* Work with cross functional teams to develop/improve internal relationships to facilitate efficient delivery
Roadmap Delivery
* Work with Product Owners and other teams to define and prioritise initiatives that feed into respective roadmaps according to the overall Strategy and quarterly OKRs
* Manage stakeholder expectations for deliverables and provide direction and leadership for maximum delivery success
* Ensure all initiatives identify and deliver required business benefits, and are delivered on time and to budget
* Facilitate and support ceremonies such as daily stand–ups, user story mapping workshops, retrospectives, replenishment meetings, backlog grooming, sprint planning and review and other Scrum and Kanban ceremonies.
* Use agile values, principles and practices to plan, manage and deliver solutions.
Strategic Planning
* Work closely with the Strategy Team to understand the direction and roadmap of the business
* Provide metrics to enable quarterly budget forecasting in accordance with the OKR cycle and roadmap of initiatives of the quarter.
* Support the Head of and Software Development Manager with capacity planning and recruitment of team members

Ideally you will have:
* HND/HNC or equivalent
* Be an OKR Master and therefore expert in OKRs, able to mentor and coach employees on the OKR method
* First or Second level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSMI, CSP, PSMII) or similar (KMP1, PSK I, Kanban Management Professional)
* Proven track record as Agile Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, Service Delivery Manager or Project Manager
* Extensive experience of working with Scrum and Kanban as well as other Agile and Lean methodolgies
* Relevant experience of IS/IT, Software Development, Product Development
* Experience in team management as well as coaching and mentoring techniques
* Experience in strategic and goal–setting methodologies such as OKR
