Senior Planning Lawyer - West Midlands

Vivid Resourcing are working alongside a local authority in the West Midlands who need a Senior Planning Lawyer to join their team on a long–term contract.

The council are looking to conduct interviews over the next couple of weeks with the idea of doing a handover at the end of May.

You will be responsible for managing a small team of 4 whilst handling a varied caseload.

Managerial responsibilities include:

Performance management
Conducting 1–to–1 sessions
Having an open door policy
Time recording

The varied caseload includes:

Judicial Reviews
Planning enforcement
Dealing with contaminated land
Local development plans
Capital projects
Instructing counsel

Contract length: 6 months initially

Weekly hours: 30–37

Office presence: Fully remote
