OUTLINE:
Our market–leading client based in Wolverhampton& position etc is looking to make a senior hire within their Construction Department. We are looking for an experienced senior manager with a record of accomplishment in delivering a high standard of professionalism.
THE JOB ROLE:
* The core responsibility of the role is to lead a team of construction managers and designers to execute their duties efficiently. In addition you will be required to:
* Establish relationships with customers; attend client meetings with the Construction Managers to report on progress and to iron out any potential issues or differences in the specification.
* Projects will mainly be in UK but there could be occasional traveling overseas.
* Be involved with the Sales & Estimating team to assist in programming of projects being tendered as well as risk profiling of those projects.
* Once a project is secured, the Head of Construction would need to take over delivery of project from Estimating team and with the Contract and Design team ensure successful delivery.
* Projects can range from design and installation of vehicle restraint systems (VRS), perimeter security fencing, fa??ade cladding, turnkey car park solutions and modular Top Deck car parks.
EXPERIENCE/ REQUIREMENTS:
* As the ideal candidate, you will have:
* A track record in delivering first class results in a similar role
* Contract and Project Management skills
* Degree/Industry equivalent in Construction (NVQ level 5/6) / Engineering
* Contract understanding of JCT and NEC
* NEBOSH
* Tender Management
* Site Experience
* CSCS Black Card
