Business Development Manager
The Role: The Business Development Manager will be selling a range of batteries and Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) systems into an array of end users and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers). The markets you will be focussing on will be the energy, mobility, telecoms, electric vehicles, and renewable energy. This role will be split between new business activity, as well as managing a set of inherited key accounts which are well established and already have strong business agreements in place. You will be tasked on bringing on new business throughout the Northern region – our client have recently become a UK supplier of a globally known brand of UPS and battery systems which will make this role extremely lucrative for the successful applicant.
The Company: Our client is an up and coming business who are well backed and are making waves in the UPS industry. They have acquired lots of expertise and knowledge to grow the UK business and are now expanding their Northern reach. The company culture is relaxed with a great team atmosphere. This is not a corporate environment, they're inclusive and welcoming. They have recently announced a partnership with a global manufacturer to become the sole UK supplier of their product which will enhance their offering immensely and ensure their growth trajectory over the coming years.
We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Have a background in selling a technical based product
Have a passion for new business and have strong account management skills
Live across the North
Are keen to work within an emerging business making a name for themselves
Understand the technical aspects of this kind of sales process
Full & Clean driving licence
Candidate Location: Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle, Preston
Salary: GBP45k basic salary DOE + OTE GBP12,000 uncapped + GBP6k Car Allowance + Pension + Phone/Laptop + 25 Days Holiday
