Business Overview:

Marquee builds highly scalable digital products to make Goldman Sachs content, data, analytics, risk and execution services available to our clients via API and digital interfaces. As we bring these tools to market, they are transforming and simplifying clients' experience while generating new revenue streams and business models. Marquee is composed of talented and passionate sales people, product managers, designers and engineers, working together to bring new products to market, build sales pipelines, and improve client workflows to change the expectation of institutional finance.

The Goldman Sachs Financial Cloud for Data (GSFCD) is an exciting new business that was recently launched by the team that built Marquee. Right now, it comprises a suite of cloud–based data and analytics solutions for financial institutions and there is an ambitious roadmap to grow the offering. These services reduce the need for investment firms to develop and maintain foundational data integration technology, and lower barriers to entry for accessing advanced quantitative analytics across global markets. GS institutional clients are able to accelerate time to market for financial applications, optimize resources to focus on portfolio returns, and innovate faster. Users of GSFCD also benefit from more streamlined and secure access to best–in–class financial data from GS.

Basic Qualifications:
Direct hands–on experience selling cloud–based data and analytics services to large financial institutions, including hedge funds and asset managers
Robust understanding of the specialized technical and data requirements and workflows of buy–side financial institutions
Development, ownership and ongoing management of a complex client pipeline, driving the dialogue forwards and setting clear commercial milestones
Strong communication and relationship–building skills, including experience interfacing with C–suite executives (in particular CTO and CDO personas) on the client side
Up–to–date on relevant industry trends e.g. cloud services for financial institutions, data management and analytics, critical buy–side technologies
Proven track record managing concurrent projects, meeting tight deadlines, working closely with key internal stakeholders, coordinating across cross–functional teams, and reporting KPIs against targets

Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of financial products across multiple asset classes including equities, rates, FX, and credit

You will primarily be responsible for selling financial cloud solutions to institutional investors, driving commercial outcomes and soliciting client feedback
You will work closely with salespeople and product experts to manage multiple work streams and ensure timely delivery of solutions to clients
You will provide input on go–to–market strategy and KPIs around your suite of products/services
You will own client relationships in [the Americas/Europe] within a global team, working hand–in–hand with senior salespeople
You will build and leverage an internal network to ensure proper coordination and delivery of best–in–class client experiences
You will advocate for clients' needs, and will help mobilize collaboration across functions, product teams and levels of seniority within the organization
