RLE International is working on behalf of their Cranfield, Bedfordshire based Client, who are currently looking for an Exterior Visibility Systems Engineer to support and join their expanding team.

Exterior Visibility Systems Engineer
Description:
Working with styling, project management, purchasing, test and manufacturing departments to take exterior lighting and visibility parts from design concept to manufacture. Evaluation and root cause analysis investigation of market concerns.
Responsibility for development of exterior lighting and visibility parts including, but not limited to, headlamps, rear lamps, other small lamps and light emitting devices, mirrors, light levelling systems.
Responsibility for budget calculation and allocation of parts listed above.
Travel is required to other Nissan facilities for build support and styling design reviews, and suppliers for part inspections and technical meetings
The contractor would not be required to provide training to others, but would be expected to actively participate in design reviews sharing their knowledge and experience
Skills required:
Automotive engineer with exterior lighting and visibility parts
Development experience
Ideally degree level qualified
Additional Information
Primary place of work will be on site but flexible working from home in line with the rest of the business will be allowed.
Based in Cranfield, Bedfordshire
Free on–site parking
GBP24.48 – per hour PAYE
Subsidised on–site restaurant
Working hours Mon–Thurs 8am–5pm,
Fri 8am–1:20pm
