Deputy Head of Lending
GBP700–GBP800 Daily Rate (Inside IR35)
Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

Advantage Resourcing is delighted to be partnered with an leading UK Fintech, they are looking to appoint a Deputy Head of Lending to assist in the development of credit risk strategies and helping to ensure that lending is managed within an agreed risk appetite.
Responsibilities
* Support the development and implementation of lending products with the requisite credit risk assessment and ensure the implementation of credit risk assessment and monitoring for the delivery of new products.
* In–depth involvement in the determining of pricing for all organic lending products
* Support the development and validation of credit scoring models and automated approval processes
* Involvement in the design of customer management process, including early warning processes and limit reviews.
* In–depth involvement with the collection process, coordinating with the Head of Operations as necessary,
* Provide inputs into the bank's impairment provisioning process, including development of an IFRS9 compliant process,.
* In–depth involvement with credit risk reporting processes appropriate for management and the board.
* Support the management of the credit risk function to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ensure the implementation of regulatory change as required.
* Management of relationships with key suppliers and outsource partners related to credit risk, including credit bureaux.
* Third party management and engagement with material stakeholders including industry bodies, such as regulators.
Requirements
* Extensive experience of leading / managing a regulated lending product in the UK financial regulated environment
* Leadership experience of a team of credit and lending specialists.
* Experience in the development and validation of operational credit models, including the writing of code in multiple languages
* Able to liaise across the risk, product development and technology functions.
* Results orientated individual
