Business Analyst

I am working with a Central Government Organisation who are looking for a Business Analyst for initially 6 months. The role is mostly remote with occasional travel to London/Milton Keynes/East Kilbride as required; they are looking for someone to start ASAP paying GBP475.00 per day outside IR35.

Please note that the candidate MUST hold a valid SC Clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Gathering, managing and validating requirements and user needs for small to large complexity projects?
• Conducting process capture and engineering activities to document business processes
• Ownership of scope and feasibility analysis
• Completion of gated documents and underpinning analysis to allow projects to progress through gateways
• Facilitation and capture of stakeholder views via interviews, surveys, document analysis or workshops
• Creating an Outline and progressing through to Final Business Case, including regular engagement with Commercial teams.
• Raising of Operational and Contact Change Requests on behalf of the project manager
• Completion of GDS Technology Code of Practice assessments to support spend controls assurance
• Input and escalation of risks and issues into project RAID logs
• Production of project communications and liaison with Technology and Digital communications teams
• Project benefits identification and monitoring
• Creation and ownership of Business Case's

Experience:

• Prince2
• Greenbook
• BA Credentials
• Experience of contributing to Business Cases
• Government/Public Sector Procurement Experience
• Broad Knowledge of IT
