We are currently recruiting for Interim Stakeholder Engagement Manager required from End of January. To cover a period of paternity leave, we are looking for a short term placement of four weeks for this key role. This represents an excellent opportunity for a self–starter. Pay GBP268 per day. Hybrid working 3 days in office and 2 working from home (could be flexible)
This role plays a central part in the strategic and stakeholder engagement, with responsibility for ensuring good stakeholder knowledge and intelligence; coordinating stakeholder activity across the organisation and supporting our corporate messaging and wider communications objectives such as assisting with preparation of external presentations.
?? Expected key responsibilities over the period
?? Manage stakeholder survey and the agency conducting it.
?? Work on securing, briefing and attending where necessary meetings with key regional stakeholders.
?? Produce stakeholder mailouts for key publication releases
?? Aid on speaking programme/assisting on any speech briefings needed.
?? Produce briefings as required
?? Aid with the production of the monthly stakeholder newsletter
?? Work on the production of the annual business plan and oversee the copywriter
?? Maintain the stakeholder database
?? Assist with other tasks across the Communications Directorate as required
Person Specification:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the External Engagement team and take lead responsibility for stakeholder activity for a four week period. Happy working across different objectives simultaneously, and able to build strong relationships quickly around the office (including in virtual mode), you will be able to demonstrate solid previous experience of stakeholder management skills and project delivery. You are able to write concisely, present clearly and persuasively, be well organised, have excellent communication skills and be adept at engaging with a diverse range of internal stakeholders at a senior level. You will also be a strong team player willing to work flexibly across the team to ensure delivery of key priorities.
