Robert Walters (Public Sector) – Interim Director of Corporate Services – 6 month contract – Working from home
Our client, a Public Sector organisation are looking for an Interim Director of Corporate Services. The role entails being responsible for planning, directing and delivering the financial, commercial and physical assets and infrastructure. You will be liable for the leadership of around 300 staff across five departments.
Location: Working from home
Contract length: 6 month contract
Contract hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: GBP1,000 a day (Inside IR35)
Key responsibilities of the Interim Director of Corporate Services
To develop the strategy and long term plans of the Directorate to meet the overall legal, commercial, property, financial and IT needs of the organisation
To promote and ensure the application of risk management within the Directorate
Develop an organisational culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and value for money
To ensure the effective development of strategic partnerships with government and other agencies to deliver improved service performance
Maintain under continuous review the efficiency of functional responsibilities throughout the Directorate and to ensure the development and implementation of programmes to reduce costsKey essentials of the Interim Director of Corporate Services
Appropriately qualified to carry out the duties of a statutory finance officer as defined within S127 of the GLA Act
Experience of successfully leading and managing projects to time and within budget
Planning and managing resources to translate long term objectives into clear, practical working plans
