Interim Finance Project Manager

An award–winning business for employee well–being is currently in search of an Interim Finance Project Manager, with the purpose of project manging a large construction programme. This 6–12 month interim assignment is based in the Portsmouth with option to also work 50% of the week from home.

Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer and the Project Director, the Finance Project Manager will be responsible for the planning and delivery of the financial project plan, developing and maintaining financial controls for the project.

You will be responsible for:

• Lead engagement with external stakeholders
• Develop and maintain the project budget
• Produce the projects monthly accounts
• Support with regulatory reporting requirements
• Manage the spend control processes
• Support with the year end financial reporting

What you will need:

• Fully Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or similar
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong commercial business acumen with the ability to get under the skin of the project
• Excellent communication skills and confidence to regularly converse with key stakeholders
• Previous construction project experience is essential
• Proven experience of developing and leading a team
