In your new role you will:
  • Lead a team of Distribution Sales Managers across North–West Europe as they drive sales growth by strategic development of the business through the Distribution partner channel to meet and exceed defined targets;
  • Be responsible for functionally managing a small team in several countries as well as managing all related regional offices of our global and local Distributors and their focus end–customers;
  • Develop and execute the business and sales strategy for Infineon's Distribution business in the assigned territory;
  • Formulate a winning strategy that can be translated into actionable tasks resulting in above market average growth for Infineon in both strategic accounts and in the broad mass market;
  • Define, execute and control all sales activities in the designated countries to fulfill the defined sales objectives and maximize the business for all Infineon products, according to the business plan agreed with the Regional Sales Manager & Distribution Account Management.

In discussions you can not only represent your opinion steadfastly but also explain it comprehensibly. At the same time, you appreciate diverse input and respect the viewpoints of others. You are best equipped for this role if you have:
  • A degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent field of studies;
  • At least 8 years of experience working as a sales manager, account manager or a similar role closely associated to semiconductor electronics;
  • A track record of managing and developing a regional and remote team;
  • Ability to collaborate across different groups having varying levels of expertise;
  • Experience interacting and persuading several levels of management from working through VP level;
  • Availability to travel within the assign region as required;
  • Good understanding of semiconductors basics would be an advantage;
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
