Head of Engineering ( Technical Team ) – North east – Oil & Gas / Chemical – Fantastic salary and benefits ( Bonus etc )
Responsibilities
Set standards for Engineering and Maintenance functions within site operations, ensuring technical engineering risks are managed and sound engineering practices, standards and processes adhered to.
Establish and maintain Company practices, standards and processes for engineering and technical matters via the COS and support Operating Sites in establishing the same locally.
Lead, manage, engage and develop assigned reports to deliver excellence in business and personal results.
Drive Maintenance Excellence and Continuous Improvement to maximise asset reliability and availability aiming for Zero Failures as a key strategy for Zero Harm.
Advise and support Leadership Teams (SLT, MD's, Site Directors etc.) in reducing technical business risks to As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering Discipline(Mechanical, Electrical, C&I or Process)
Chartered or equivalent level professional accreditation
Experience in specification and design of plant
