Competencies
* An understanding of the Regulatory landscape for Asset Managers and their clients
* A good understanding of Asset Management functions from Front through to Back Office and all supporting functions
* Specialised regulatory reporting knowledge from education and/or business experience

Responsibilities:
* Support the management of 1st LOD programme for the business/group in compliance with appropriate principles, standards and direction from the second line of defence groups.
* Support the implementation of risk management programmes/frameworks
* To participate in ad–hoc change management activities
* To ensure that all relevant regulatory reports are made in a complete and accurate manner, meeting regulatory and other deadlines.
* To carry out controls, checks and reconciliations throughout the department to minimise BMO Group's exposure to risk; to ensure these allow the team to meet its reporting responsibilities and to carry out all routines as described in the department's procedures.
* To collaborate in the preparation of reports for senior management as required.
* Assisting in developing and maintaining all databases and other systems required to support this activity.
* To maintain a control and compliance culture
* To maintain procedures for the function
* To carry out all routines as described in the procedures
* To assist in developing and maintaining a comprehensive set of controls throughout the function to ensure that all services, disclosures and reports are developed in a complete, accurate and timely manner
* To maintain up to date knowledge of industry trends, practices and initiatives relevant to the function
* To develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications and Experience:
* Specialised regulatory reporting knowledge from education and/or business experience
* An understanding of Asset Management functions from Front through to Back Office and all supporting functions
* An awareness of the Regulatory landscape for Asset Managers and their clients
* Experience of data management and the use of spreadsheets and databases
* Experience of reporting under AIFMD, MMFR and Solvency II regulations is desirable
* Minimum 4 years' regulatory experience undertaking regulatory reporting responsibilities
