Housing Litigation Solicitor - This is an exciting opportunity to join a Legal 500 firm that have been delivering legal advice for over 100 years. This practice is known for their property litigation work and have been acting for social landlords for over 30 years. Due to continued growth are now seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join their specialist housing law team.
About the Role
Working closely with the Partners you will need to have a detailed and complex background knowledge of property and housing litigation. You will be dealing with a busy caseload of housing litigation matters to include defending disrepair claims, possession, civil injunctions, defending EPA claims, ASB and fraud, landlord and tenant matters, AST and/or leasehold matters to include forfeiture claims is desirable.
Candidate Requirements
You will need at least 5 years relevant experience of working in a housing management legal department in a solicitor's firm or in-house. You will be expected to deliver excellent client care, participate in marketing and networking activities and oversee and support junior members of the team. An ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines and targets is essential.
