Energy Retail SME/ Senior Business Analyst

CGI's Energy Retail team are looking to grow their ever busy team with an Energy Retail Senior Business Analyst/ SME Consultant. Do you want to make an impact on the energy sector? Your future duties and responsibilities
Your role will involve work across the full implementation life–cycle, including analysis and documentation of business and functional requirements, business process analysis, strategic solution recommendations and solution architecture, design, testing and cut–over. You will be involved in defining scope and business priorities for small–scale changes, you will elicit requirements, select appropriate techniques for the elicitation of detailed requirements and will specify business and system requirements. As a Senior BA you will also be heavily involved in stakeholder management.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
To be successful in this role you will have worked within the utilities sector as a BA, specifically within a Gas or Power retail organisation. You will be proficient in Business Analysis techniques, techniques which help in modelling and understanding a business and its operation and identifying and evaluating solutions to business problems. You will have good knowledge of the end–to–end project lifecycle and will have strong stakeholder management skills.

You will have experience of relevant energy sector solutions such as SAP ISU, Oracle Utilities, Salesforce Sales Cloud/ Service Cloud, Gentrack/Junifer solutions, and or industry data flow solutions

You will be a team player with strong communication and presentation skills and an ability to engage at all stakeholder levels. You will also have the ability to work independently, in teams and projects with limited supervision.

Desirable but not essential experience includes:
• Experience of working as a Process Lead, as a Business or Technical Analyst in the Energy industry ideally leading assignments supporting business and/or IT transformation.
• Experience of current and future industry and regulatory change.
• Experience of business process mapping/business process re–engineering, or as a process lead or Customer Journey owner.
• Track record of finding innovative solutions to business challenges.
• The ability to create and maintain clearly written business requirements and functional system design documentation.
• The Ability to multi–task, with experience of working on various projects at any one time.

This role can be based out of our Manchester, Solihull or Liverpool offices, but you must have a flexible attitude towards travel, as travel will be part of the role when normality resumes.
