CGI's Utilities team is looking to grow through the addition of a Water Industry Senior Business Analyst / Subject Matter Expert / Consultant. Do you want to make an impact on the water sector? Your future duties and responsibilities
Your role will involve work across the full project and programme life–cycle. You will help us define and execute our strategy for the sector, supporting client engagements through the pre–sales and delivery phases. This could include activities such as analysis and documentation of business and functional requirements, business process analysis, strategic solution recommendations and solution architecture, design, testing and cut–over. You will be involved in defining scope and business priorities for small–scale changes, you will elicit requirements, select appropriate techniques for the elicitation of detailed requirements and will specify business and system requirements. As a Senior BA you will also be heavily involved in stakeholder management.

You will work with a wide range of companies including the water retailers and wholesalers.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
To be successful in this role you will have worked within the water industry sector as a BA. This would be either via a consultancy working within that sector or directly within a water company. You will be proficient in Business Analysis Techniques. Techniques, which help in modelling and understanding a business and its operation and identifying and evaluating solutions to business problems. You will have good knowledge of the end–to–end project lifecycle and will have strong stakeholder management skills.

You will have experience of relevant water sector solutions and will ideally have understanding of things such as sensors and SMART Metering. An understanding of IoT would be desirable too

You will be a team player with strong communication and presentation skills and an ability to engage at all stakeholder levels. You will also have the ability to work independently, in teams and projects with limited supervision.

Desirable but not essential experience includes:
• Experience of working as a Process Lead, as a Business or Technical Analyst in the Water industry ideally leading assignments supporting business and/or IT transformation.
• Experience of current and future industry and regulatory change.
• Experience of business process mapping/business process re–engineering, or as a process lead or Customer Journey owner.
• Track record of finding innovative solutions to business challenges.
• The ability to create and maintain clearly written business requirements and functional system design documentation.
• The Ability to multi–task, with experience of working on various projects at any one time.

This role can be based in one of many CGI offices, such as Solihull, Manchester, Bristol, Liverpool, Reading or Leatherhead. However you must have flexibility to travel on occasions to other CGI offices and client sites
