Associate Director

My client is a Director owned Engineering Consultancy. They Specialise in Infrastructure and Drainage. They have successfully delivered for their Clients across Retail, Residential, Commercial and Public Sector amongst others.

As an expanding SME they have opened a new office in Essex and are building a team to support the increase in work in the South. The chosen candidate will be part of the growth of the office and the business which will present opportunities for development and progression.

Their Infrastructure team is looking to build on recent success and expand operations; they are looking for people to help them continue this path – opportunities across the levels are all open to growth in the medium and long term.

This particular role requires necessary experience, knowledge and technical expertise to act as a direct Client contact and project manager on each commission entrusted to them. They must be conversant in post planning detail design skills on Infrastructure schemes, including Highway and Drainage design. Ideally you will be a work winning consultant as well, but this is not a pre requisite.

Skills required

• The key design skills will include delivery of the detailed design of Highways and/or Drainage Design work from concept phase through to Construction detail.

• Ability to manage time (both independently and wider team)and work to strict deadlines.

• Ability to supervise the work of more junior staff and sub–consultants.

• Ability to prepare fee proposals and project manage a commission from start to finish.
