Business Analyst

Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Business Analyst for a 6 Month contract based remotely.

Purpose of the Role:

• As a Business Analyst, you will be supporting the identification of solutions that deliver value to stakeholders and lead in the definition and realisation of solutions, processes, benefits, avoidance of cost, identification of new opportunities, understanding of required capabilities and modelling the organisation.
  

As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for:

• Supports the analysis of complex cross–franchise and pan group requirements
• Capture, validate and document business and system requirements and make sure that they are in line with key strategic principles and translated from business operations, business objectives or from external requirements
• Interrogate and interpret large volumes of data
• Understand the wider business impact across key outputs and processes

What we require from the candidate:

• Considerable experience of working with business analysis or solution design role, preferably within financial services
• Knowledge and experience with case diagrams
• Excellent insight in defining business requirements with the ability to analyse and problem–solve to determine solutions.
• Knowledge in business solution/analysis techniques, tools, and methods with a strong understanding of their purpose, fit and relevance when initiating developments.
• An understanding of and the ability to accommodate the needs of multi–disciplined teams, consisting of internal and external resources i.e third party suppliers and contractors.
• A strong understanding of business processes and how technology supports business change.
• The ability to confidently communicate with the ability to influence stakeholders, task manage an analyst team and communicate progress at various levels.
• Experience of leading a team across small– or large–scale initiatives.
• This client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
