Regional Production Director, food production, Salary C GBP70,000 + 10% annual bonus, GBP8000 car or allowance, enhanced pension, healthcare, 25 days holiday + BH.
Arlington Moore Recruitment is working in partnership with a highly respected food production business who continues to expand and flourish. They are now looking for a Regional Production Director, responsible for 2 sites initially – Tilbury & Haverhill. We are looking for a motivated leader, perhaps a General Manager or Site Manager or Production Manager / Manufacturing Manager looking for the next step. Our client is expanding so the role does present opportunity to anyone who is looking to grow their career.

Reporting to the COO the Regional Production Director will be responsible for directing, managing, and shaping production operations across regional sites with full h&s, quality, service, commercial, budget and P&L accountability by region.
The Regional Production Director should be well versed in delivering 1st class production and packing operations as well as motivating and leading site teams to meet agreed performance targets against plan ensuring focus on efficient and effective customer service standards whilst delivering the highest of standards in Health & Safety and Quality.
Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Regional Production Director
* Lead the implementation of the operational strategy for production sites
* Act as the commercial lead
* Grow the business region in line with the company strategy
* Liaise with other business functions regarding production, seamless delivery of production plans and service delivery
* Primary point of contact for the management of customer accounts
* Managing labour resourcing, team development and succession planning to achieve operational agility
* Ensuring production process efficiency targets are communicated, owned, targeted, and delivered
* Attending customer review meetings
* Ensuring the operations are legally compliant
* Developing a robust quality structure across the business unit
* Direct management of Regional GM's
* Delivery and reporting of agreed KPIs to board level
* Managing both the regional and site level capacity to deliver on growth and expectation
