We have an opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join the Management team at our Washington site. Working in partnership with the site manager and key stakeholders, you will develop and deliver HR plans and solutions in line with organisational needs and priorities. You will be the site HR expert, and advise, guide, and support line managers and colleagues across the two sites.

Key Accountabilities –

Providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers and colleagues on HR matters, supporting managers in dealing with complex casework, performance, attendance and employee relations issues.

Identifying HR priorities from site plans and delivering people solutions.

Delivering key HR initiatives across the HR spectrum, including workforce planning, restructuring, resourcing, talent management, employee relations, employee engagement and performance management.

Commissioning services, projects or activity that supports the delivery of HR and departmental strategies and objectives; working with third party providers to ensure that services meet business needs and are delivered to agreed standards and timescales.

Analysing and reporting HR information to support with benchmarking and the development of HR strategies and solutions.

Maintaining a clear understanding and providing up to date knowledge of the legal framework within which HR operates; developing HR policies in line with current legislation and keeping abreast of modern HR procedures and best practice.

Directing and supporting the Senior HR Assistant in their duties to support the delivery of the HR strategy.

About you –

Strong experience in a similar HR role including; experience of working in partnership with key stakeholders, managing conflict and sensitive issues to achieve positive outcomes.

Ability to critically assess requirements, and select 'best fit' approach to meeting divisional HR needs

Effectively communicate complex ideas and information to a range of audiences and stakeholders

Proven ability to systematically analyse information to bring clear, relevant and intelligible recommendations

Take a proactive approach to risk management, ensuring risks and issues are identified, addressed, reported, and escalated where appropriate

Manage individuals through line management and ensure adequate resourcing is planned to meet objectives

Ability to challenge and influence others, including more senior colleagues and stakeholders

CIPD qualified to chartered status or relevant experience
