This prestigious logistics company based in Edinburgh require a hands on Finance Manager to join their global dynamic business. The finance structure has changed and this has opened up an opportunity for an individual to manage a growing team within the payroll function.

Your new role

This exciting new opportunity will allow you to manage a critical internal payroll team of 6 administrators. The team is a key support function not only as the start point for accurately processing payroll but also ensuring costs are recorded correctly for the client billing process. You would be tasked with developing procedures to ensure processes are efficient and accurate. There will be overtime reports to produce and supervise. You will also respond to queries from the central payroll team to ensure accurate reports can be produced.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need excellent communication skills and be able to effectively lead a team of varied experience levels. As you will be communicating with senior members of the finance team on a daily basis professionalism is critical. Aspiration to develop yourself and you team is vital.
