A Senior Business Analyst is required for our client. The organisation are currently working from home but occasional travel to offices may be required in the future. The successful candidate will be working in an Agile environment, where they will be responsible for translating business requirements into user stories or functional requirements for technical teams, reviewing existing documented business processes and workflows and amending as necessary, collaborating with developers, testers and other stakeholders to define the product backlog, to ensure smooth delivery.

Principal Responsibilities
* Coaching and working with SMEs to drive the elicitation, analysing, validating of requirements, driving the research and gathering of functional and non–functional requirements.
* Deliver clear, concise, and accurate business requirements including acceptance criteria, detailing interactions, and working with the developers in the creation, capture and documentation of technical requirements
* Works with stakeholders to develop the business operating model and mapping business objectives against the architecture.
* To manage the tracking and delivery of requirements.
* Drive best practice processes.
* Identify, monitor and manage project risks and issues.
* Support with the management and monitoring of the project's Benefit Realisation plan.
Person Specification

Essential Skills and Experience

* Having worked as a Senior Business Analyst for at least 5 years holding a professional BA certification and has extensive experience in a technical environment.
* Strong analytical skills, ability to understand problem domain and express complexity in clear terms to technical and non–technical stakeholders
* The ability to think analytically.
* Extensive data mapping skills and the ability to digest and explain complex data requirements
* Understanding of ITIL processes and detailed understanding of the software delivery lifecycle
* Scrum / Agile Enthusiast
* Proficient in the use of Office 365 applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Desirable Skills and Experience

* Awareness of the Azure Cloud and Microsoft Power platform architecture.
* Experience of working within the Public sector is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo and obtain security clearance.
